    Dated Spring 1957. The back of the booklet also has a postmark of 1957 & a 3-cent stamp. (Recipient's name has been blurred by software for the picture.) The phone number on the front is old-style (Central 2-5528). It was sent compliments of Pleasure Island Resort in Dover.

    Includes black-and-white photos of vintage cars, the Spring Grill and Motel, a Coonhound hunting a raccoon in a tree, the Cumberland River, a Coke bottle with "TRADE MARK REGISTERED BOTTLE PAT'D NOV 16, 1915" in an ad for Cocoa-Cola Bottling Works of Clarksville, and other vintage photos.

    It also has a map of Stewart County, noting the location of Fort Donelson National Military Park & Fort Campbell National Military Reservation, towns, & roads.

    Reference is made to construction on Barkley Dam, which was to begin in 1957, and the proposed lake that would result (to be named Lake Barkley). Mention is also made of Indian Mound, Tennessee, where Cherokee Indians had once lived, as part of an ad for a bank with Native American relics on display. Text details the history of Stewart County, fishing opportunities, and so forth.

    Great vintage condition. It has the resort name & address stamped on the front; 2 staple holes at the edge of pages from when it was mailed; spottiness on the front cover; and the address of the resort crossed out on P. 3, with a new handwritten address.
